The"commune" of Aubeterre belongs

Charente, in the Poitou-Charentes region and is close to Perigord and Aquitaine;

"canton" of Aubeterre sur Dronne and is part of the "communauté de communes du Pays d’Aubeterre".
Its area is 239 ha and its population is 430 inhabitants.
Aubeterre is 70 km East of the Atlantic Ocean, 44
km West of Perigueux, 45km South of Angoulême and 90 km North of Bordeaux.
Its climate is oceanic and
mild.
The inhabitants are called "Aubeterriens" and "Aubeterriennes".
