Tennis Club Aubeterre
Aubeterre has a thriving tennis club, also based down by the Dronne. The école de tennis runs every Saturday morning from mid September through to mid June, and adult groups run on Thursday and Friday evenings. If you fancy taking up the game pop along.
The club has three courts, two of which are floodlit, and it runs junior and senior men’s and women’s teams in the Charente leagues.
Every summer, from 1st to 15th August, it runs a very successful tournament, the finals of which witness some high level tennis. But the first week is for players of all standards, so don’t be shy to give it a go.
